The Danone Institute of Japan holds an annual forum to encourage medical doctors and nutrition professionals with providing the latest knowledge in nutrition.

TRANSLATED DANONE CHAIR MONOGRAPH
The Danone Institute of Japan publishes translated Danone Chair Monographs in Japanese. This is one of the most important activities of the Danone Institute of Japan. The "Danone Chair Monographs" are published by the Danone Institute of Belgium.
E-MAIL MAGAZINE "NUTRITION NEWS"
The Danone Institute of Japan changed a paper newsletter "Nutrition News" from September, 2005 into on e-mail magazine "Nutrition News" and it is being sent to the subscribers every month on 15th.
DANONE INTERNATIONAL PRIZE FOR NUTRITION
The 2005 Danone International Prize for Nutrition has been awarded to Prof. David Barker of Southampton University, UK for his pioneering role in the area of diet, nutrition and chronic adult disease.
